I haven’t made a post in nearly a month, for that I am deeply sorry to anyone who actually reads. These last few weeks have been busy and I had some huge set backs, but now I am quickly updating all the series. A few of this season’s show came to an end and I now have them loaded on the site; as well as some new series that just arrived on the scene. I’ll post more later and include a list once I’m completely updated.

Wow, some of you may have thought episode 10 was a bit boring without much action. Maybe you loved it because it didn’t have any mecha action. However, fans of the series enjoyed this episode a great deal. I knew it instantly after the first 5 seconds that this was going to be epic. My mind was blown away watching this one, go ahead and laugh if you want to. For those that don’t know yet what I’m talking about, The movie that was shot in episode 10 is almost a mirror copy of Macross Zero. This makes the movie they shot a historical movie. Macross Zero is the first in the chronological order of the series. It took place 1 year before the events of the original Macross (Robotech) that we grew up watching. I also noticed that Ranka’s brother mentioned Mao as a doctor. It makes me wonder if the Mao from Macross Zero became a doctor after the final episode. Like always if you haven’t seen the latest episode you can grab it off the download section. If you haven’t seen Macross Zero then go shoot yourself you can also grab that series off the download section here.

Here are some comparisons for you to look at.

So I just watched the Otaking’s Rise and Fall of Anime Fansubbing. Maybe it’s not so new to you guys, but I just watched it so lay off. Let me point out something before I start. I am not and have never been involved in the Japanese visual culture translation scene. The person who created these video seems like someone who is part of that circle. I’m not saying that they are, just saying that it’s what i’m going to assume until corrected.

I must admit that the introduction and first part of this youtube video series got me pretty excited. There were some mentions of old school anime and anime styles that I haven’t seen in a long time. It brought back fimilar feelings. Like I could agree with the guy when he said there wasn’t much anime in the US during the 90’s. I knew exactly what he meant when he said “fans could only dream of watching shows like Macross 7“. In those days I was a huge fan of Robotech.

Haha, well for those that take notice the team has slightly slacked off in the update department. The reason mainly being that I was over at another site helping a close friend setting up an aniblog. Some of the blame also came from the fact that all the admins are caught up in GTA4 online (if you have a ps3 and the game you should join us). Not to worry though, because I have been keeping track of the anime series and uploaded the files. It’s just we haven’t added the links.

About the new blog though, it’s called Karoshi 2 Natsukashii (nostalgic). It started with my good man Os who set out on a journey at one point and came home. Now after a short break he is off on another journey, this time he enlisted the help of a few other old school bloggers from the past to have an epic show down with the demonlord on the top floor of the tower bring back the passion of aniblogging.

A few of the writers and signed on are…

Ten - Yummy Sushi Pajamas
Matte - Chotto Matte!
Newt - Pretty Scythe
Anna - Tokyojupiter

More will probably show up as they check their emails.

Really these guys do something that I admire alot (not saying! it’s embarrassing) and would definitely link to their stuff. So, if you are just going to pass this blog up, at least link up to Natsukashii of you’ll regret it for life.

Whoa what’s this? A post? haha yeah it’s been longer than usual since our last post, but that’s ok cause no one’s reading this. Ha Ha ha ha………. ahem.. well at least for anyone that happens to come across this page, I would like to point their direction towards this new series. Nabari no Ou, loosely translated as the Ruler of Nabari. Nabari in this case apperntly means the world of ninjas. That’s write you heard me, Ninjas. Of course there’s already been a fair share of ninja themed animes, but why not give this one a shot as well. The story is about modern day ninjas and their rivalry over the ulimate ninjutsu.
